About Monique
"Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in trauma recovery and depth-oriented psychotherapy."
It was my own journey of trauma recovery that inspired me to become a practitioner. I entered the mental health field in 2015 working with foster and transition-age youth at Encompass Community Services. Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a high school humanities teacher in New York and San Francisco, and later pursued videography and visual arts.
My depth-oriented training at Pacifica Graduate Institute shapes my approach to therapy. I believe in meeting clients where they are, honoring all parts of their experience, and supporting their innate capacity for healing and growth.
"Everyone is capable of healing under the right conditions, and everyone deserves the chance to do so."
